About Trouve

Circa 1982: My Mom made these costumes

I write, I find things, I fix things up, I sew, I do a little light carpentry. But mostly I try to stay creative so I can stay sane. If you’ve read my other blog, Does This Baby Make me Look Fat? you know how important Mommy sanity is.

So here I’m exploring the boundaries of creativity. What can you do with a broken shelf, anyhow? We shall see.

Thank heavens I live in the city of San Francisco. There’s a cornucopia of junk thrown on the street every day. I often wonder why they don’t load up the Subaru and take it all to the Salvation Army or the Goodwill, but hey. My gain. And your, too, I hope.
